Hi I just got a kenwood 10.1 inch headunit. It has a GPS and also a PINK VSS wire on the harness.

1. Does anyone know where to put the wire?
2. Do needs some type of signal converter to make it work?
Anyone suggest some steps to resolve this? Thx

Ps. I am told VSS checking can be turned off on the kenwood bit I would rather make it work. Thx

The VSS for the 94 is off the transmission. Get a FSM and it will have the wiring diagram to trace and splice into the wire. I'm assuming this is for navigation?

I know nothing about this pink wire or why a head unit would need vehicle speed, but I can tell you from memory the VSS wire in 1994 1fz 80 series is a red wire w/ green stripe located at pin 1 on the IH1 connector near the ECU behind the glovebox.

It's not on the transmission. It's on the rear output side of the t-case.
