These lithium jump starters are worth their weight in gold - when charged and the need arises.
In regards to storing them at high states of charge, I wouldn't worry about charging them to 100%. Understand that it has its own internal BMS that manages the real SOC. As these are emergency devices where the value is in them actually having a good charge and capacity when the need arises, I store them topped off. Before every big trip, I pull it out of the car and charge just to be sure. It never really seems to have lost more than a few percent charge even after 6 months. Whether capacity is actually impacted, can't say.
For as cheap as they are these days, I'm not looking for lifetime utility.
