Where and What is the best camshaft. (1 Viewer)

Hi All,
If you've read my earlier post (depressing)https://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=69723
I've found a used 2F. I've pulled the Oil Pan and coverplate to take a look at the guts. The cam is looking a little worn and the lifters had some minor pitting on them.
So where is the best place to buy a cam? Should I go with a stock or performance cam?

the rv grind
bought the reground lifters also from M A F
i have absolutly NO issues with M A F.

real good HP
with the motor i built, it works and runs great! can definitly tell the difference

the reground lifters are no big deal, just cheaper.

You can get your stock cam reground as well. Mark Whatley posted some of his favorite 2F HP numbers a while ago..

Don't remember exactly, I think it was like $100

The MAF cam is a nice unit. I just like a slightly different profile.

I am collecting parts right now to start building the motor for my 40 ( Basically Built similar to Andrew Farmers but with the turbo ) And I really want to taylor the cam to my specifications..

i love the way it runs.

hey, by the way.
i was driving it for the first time on the road with my iroks(unbalanced even)
no vibrations that i could tell of.thats runnin at about 40-45 mph
