I don't find the second fob as bad as the parasitic draw is. The second two way fob is rather small.

The larger remote has a rechargeable battery, via a USB cable. The other smaller remote has a regular button cell battery.

I installed the Viper on my son’s Forester. There may be a draw but the car sits for weeks and starts right up on that tiny Subaru battery.
