Followed a 100 home last week and the class 3 was IN the bumper.

What year did they do that?

there might even be a pintal hitch bolt patern under the plastic on LC and LX's, I have seen other market 100's with a pintel bolted up.

I saw 06 LX470 at the dealer yesterday and it had the hitch under the bumper, however I do agree that at least the 04 and 05 have in the bumper and you access it by removing this plastic piece.

Just came from the dealer I was looking at a 2003 LC. The hitch was in the bumper with a cap over it. Don't know if it was good for 5K or 6.5K lbs

This 2006 LX470 doesn't have the in-bumper hitch either. So, I guess it looks like '03-'05 LX470's had the in-bumper hitch.
