I recently found a short stretch of some really nice moderate to hard wheeling near the St Vrain River valley west of Estes Park, CO. Any you CO guys familiar with that area? Planning on going back over Labor Day but can't seem to find a NF map (USGS quads do not have these roads on them).

St. Vrain....ahhh the memories. Hiked to the glacier back in August of 1971. Got caught in hail, nearly got hypothermia. Tried to make instant oatmeal over sterno! Ha! Not to swift. :) Oh well, I was just a kid.

Courtesy 4X4trails.net. Also check out Charles Wells' books on four wheeling Co. You can make a loop trail with this and a trail called Coney Flats.

There are quite a few trails in that area: Middle St. Vrain, Coney Flats, Bunce School, Rock Creek, Storm Mtn., Pole Hill, Hells Canyon, Johnny/Pierson Park, most are in the Charles Wells book, Brad.
