Does anyone know if a 2005 Tundra wheel will fit on a 1976 fj40 front axle with no problems? I know that the early Toy truck 15" rims fit on drum brakes but the 76 has disc brakes...
I know this question has probably been beaten to death.

I don't want to say no, your best way is try one on the front.
Usually the IFS Toy 15" rims don't fit on SFA trucks, 16" might fit .

Nope. Wheel backspacing won't allow it.

Gentlemen, I really appreciate your input. Because my front axle is completely disassembled right now. I can't mount them and find out. I should have my axle back next week sometimeand I'll share my findings....
