Will the early oem rims from the early fj60s (the ones with the center caps from the late fj40s up to the 84 model 60) fit the 85-87 fj60. Is there a backspace issue?

I know that. I have a set. I also have after market wheels on it now. But the wheels with center caps from 40s and 55s apparently fit the fj60 up to 84. What is the difference after 84. I like the look of the 40 and 55 wheel with the center caps and want to put skinnies on my 60.
