Koyo rear axle bearing on semi-float. Drawing a blank. Does the stamped writing marking the part number on the bearing go inward to the diff side or outward to the wheel. Thanks in advance.

Opposite way to whichever the race is sitting...

I prefer to put the bearing with the closed end out (stamped marking out). The FSM doesn’t indicate any preference, which makes sense since the rear bearings are not tapered or separate from the race - so, you can put them in either way.
