Wheel Backspacing Question (1 Viewer)

I’m running a 15 x 8 steel wheel with 3.50 backspacing on my series 70. I added a 1” spacer as I had room in the fender well to get the stance a hair wider.

I’m gonna order a new set of steel wheels to get ready of the spacer. Am I correct that if I ordered the same wheel with a 2.50 backspace it would basically equal the setup I’m currently running ?

15 x 8 3.50 BS w/ 1” spacer
15 x 8 2.50 BS

Sounds right to me. I have 15x8 with2.5” BS on my FJ40 currently. I was actually thinking about switching my wheels out if you are interested.
