I just put on 2863s with the OME nitrochargers and cranked my TBs to the max, will replace soon. Before adding a 4x4 labs rear bumper I was at 24.5" in the rear, which I expected to come down after the bumper went on. I'm sitting at ~23.5 in the rear currently. I am debating on if I need to upgrade to heavier springs in the rear even though these 2863s have about 50 miles on them. I haven't added the tire or swing arms to the bumper yet, so I am conerned I am going to lose way more height. Am I being unrealistic? I searched for others comments, but mainly I saw posts with 1 or 2 posts with not that much information, so I thought maybe we can all post and it will pop up in searches moving forward. Or if I missed the post, link me and I'll let this die.

OME 2863s with 4x4 labs bumper yielded me ~23.5" in the rear. Slightly less drivers side with a full tank.
Front currently cranked giving me about 21.75", going to install OME TBs and reindex once I get the front bumper and winch on.

Don’t have rear measurements but my front in this pic(with 863s)was 22”. That’s with full ARB drawers loaded with tools and recovery gear, loaded 63q arb fridge, autohome RTT, 2500 awning, Dissent rear with 295/70/18 Toyo MY spare, and probably a stuffed Trasharoo. Still had some rake. I really liked my 863s with that setup.

What do you plan on running the front at? Unless you want to be hella stink bug I would think 22.5”-23” in the back would be good?

I wanted to run the front at around 23", but my concern is once I add weight to the rear I'm not going to be able to have the rake and still be around 23" in the front.

Are you going to be able to get enough droop up front for 23”s? That’s up there. Are you running longer than normal lift shocks and aftermarket UCAs?
I didn’t think run the mill nitrochargers were long enough?

I have the SPC adjustable UCAs in the front but just OME nitrochargers in the front. I'm willing to replace those if needed, but I guess I'm just trying to get a sense of how realistic my poser lift desires are with bolt on suspension changes.

At 23”s In the front I think you will be in Mall Crawling territory. And the speed bumps are gonna be killer.

I'll need to punch that into my "how cool do I look vs functionality" algorithm to see if its worth it. I'll probably end up sticking with ~22" in the front to keep about an inch of rake.

You could run the 1” BL that @TRAIL TAILOR is making. That would allow you to run 21.5 up front but have 22.5” hub to fender. Plus you would get real world increased tire clearance. All while having great droop.

Food for thought.

I actually have a 1" BL from trail tailor sitting in my garage, slated for install sometime this summer.
Awesome. So back to the 863s. If you like the way they ride just throw in a spacer if you want a little more lift. No need to keep chasing springs.

If I act satisfied my wife will really start to question the boxes that keep showing up at the house. I'll just need to think of some technical terms to glaze her eyes over.

Going to 23" (if you can get there) is not a good plan, start budgeting for new parts: anticipate leaking or torn CV boots, clicking worn CV's, poor steering handling (street/hwy), and a handful of suspension bushing updates.

21.5~22 is the sweet spot to shoot for.

That seems to be the consensus I'm seeing. I'll probably end up at 22" given how the rear is sitting. I just need some travel when I drive over the curb separating the Dunkin Donuts from the Pizza hut because their is no way to get around the building except the drive through lane, which I don't need to be in because I went inside.
