Well, after the installation of a Kaymar Deluxe Bumper there's big gap between the Kaymar bumper and the rear mudflaps. Is there any difference between a Land Cruiser mudflaps and a LX 450 mudflaps?

Uhhhhhh ....don't know much about that there set up
........but i'd say it looks obvious to me it aint the piece to fit the part...........

Yes the 80 mudflap fits perfectly there. I would suggest a different bumper, and you can give me that one...:grinpimp:

So your saying that the Land Cruiser mudflaps will perfectly fit along the contour of the Kaymar?

I think in slee's newbie guide or something like that it says that the mud flaps are different, not sure though. I might be completely wrong just thought i saw that somewhere.

I have some 80 mud flaps if you want them.

Thanks for the offer:D. I'll send you a pm.

The LC mudflaps are different and they are black. The LX450 mudflaps are painted the same as the cladding. As you have discovered, they have different shapes.

I don't think it matters which vehicle you have; all Kaymar bumpers (with the exception of Deluxe bumper) have straight side walls and all mudflaps have curved openings.

Thanks B. I do not mind if the LC mudflaps are black I can easily paint them since I still have some left over paint from painting the bumper. I just want to close the gap between the bumper and flaps.

Above pictures were now proof the difference between LC and LX rear mudflaps. I'll post some pictures once I installed the LC mudflaps but I got to source them out first :D

I'll give the LC flaps a try to see if the curve will fit the Kaymar, then I'll post some pix.

It won't make any difference, you'll still have that ugly gap I'm afraid :frown: The diff between the two mudflaps has to do with the stuff higher up where the LX has body molding and the LC doesn't. They're the same down below.

Upon further researched, I found these pictures from the net. Looks like the LC mudflaps really fit well with the deluxe bumper much better than the LX450 mudguards.

Noel,

You can purchase the Deluxe side wing pieces from Kaymar I think and then replace your current side wing....at least I think you can buy them separately!

They are not, the LX 450 oe bumper pieces are more square and hang down lower to protect the pink panties. :D

The LC mud flap will definately fit the kaymar better. The LX mud flap has a larger opening than LC version.

As we can see from previous pictures that the LX has a bigger crack than the LC and this is where we need a bigger thong to close the gap:whoops:.:censor:
