I personally love the tailgate storage! I was out packing for a trip and figured I would snap a picture since I talked about it above.

Ouch, I was going to grab two until I saw the price, so one for now.I keep a tool roll in the car with some common hand tools. By no means a full mechanics set. Depending on the type of wheeling you do, it may take that. Lots of write-up on what potentially to take, but I'll take another angle on what I've actually needed to use on the trail. Most every time for friends rigs.
- Long tie-wraps
- Gaffers tape (or duck tape)
- Scissor
- Wire strippers and electrical tape
- Hammer
- Pliers
- Large crescent wrench
- Combination wrenches
I love this Step22 Pangolin tool roll. Spendy, but the value is there. Easy to chuck around, deploy, store, and keeps tools quiet.

Mine fits my air up kit. ARB hose, digital filler gauge and air down down tool perfectly.I've always wondered what people carry in their open storage compartment in the tailgate. I'd really like to find a tool roll or hardcase box to fit additional tools in.
