Fuel pump wire repair...side note, has anyone else had a problem with their wiring to the fuel pump? About 6" from the battery connection I had a s***ty fuesable link that went bad...it took DAYS to figure out why my cruiser wouldnt start....
I had that exact same issue on my 96’. Swerved to miss someone running a stop sign and the engine stalled. 4 nights of working on it till way past bedtime before I finally found that damn fusable link!

Glad im not the only one. I had mine towed to the nearest Toyota dealership (compliments of insurance) and had them diagnose it, and then I towed it home. They sent me on a wild goose chase with their diagnosis before I realized they were completely wrong. They even quoted me over $1500 when the actual fix was a few cents.

finally got my radio installed... pretty happy with it so far... kinda fighting joying for support because it was suppose to offer carplay and its not working on this particular unit... also checked out a pretty neat area north of canon at the "the banks campground"

EDIT: Click this image^^^^^^ to view the panarama shot

Youth and their music...Bah Humbug! lol kidding, I don't know s*** about carplay but, that's a cool spot! How about we put that place on the list for next time?

Been posing in the 120 section but since this is not GX specific thought I’d post it here.

After looking around and thinking about how I wanted to do the awning I settled on a receiver style, similar to Gamaviti. I made these up using 14 ga for the stinger and all else was 1/8, just stuff I had laying around. My plan is to now make a set of receivers for the rear so I can move it easily. The rear spoiler will have to go away and I was wanting to do that anyway. I really like the awning, clever design and easy to set up.

The awning sits more forward, this was just a test fit. It’s actually tucked under the RTT nicely.

Made these so I can move my ARB 2000 from the side to the rear. I like the extra coverage this provides off the back. More details in my build thread.

On the Arkansas River. It was a really sweet spot, could have spent all day chillin by the River and listening to it.

Howdy Boys!

I know it's off topic, but was wondering if any of you have seen these out in the wild. Reminds me of my old CJ5 (minus the V8 :) ).

Anyone thinking of buying one?

Cheers!

Hey guys just moved from Nashville to Castle Rock, and started to work on the 40. Purchased new wheels and tires for the 40, and just received the OEM center caps for my 1980 FJ. In the mail tomorrow comes the new Dakota digital cluster for my 40. Everything is starting to come around out here....

Finished today with balance beads in all 5 tires!

OEM wheels for the 1980 40 $875
OEM center caps for the 40 $325
33x10.5xr15 BFG mud terrain tires $975
OME 2.5 inch heavy duty lift $1350
Back to a stock looking truck (ok maybe a little taller). Priceless!!! I am very happy with the way it tuned out and I would highly recommend OME lift and steering stabilizer along with 33 inch tires rides 10x better than it did. Next project the new Dakota digital dash cluster install, should arrive this week and I’ll send pic ls once installed...

Have to say it looks great. Next step getting it installed. More to come here are a few pics of the kit.
