I’ve seen this panel in earlier 55s. Iam thinking maybe 74?

It is 100% 73’ and I believe 72’ as well. I just saw the same dash in a truck for sale that is listed as a 72’

Both my '76 40 and 55 had that light under the dash like above.

Every so often I wonder what was the trigger for the "Charge" light? 0 Amps from the alternator?

12v on one side of the bulb from the key being switched on and the other side is to ground. When the alternator starts spinning the regulator applies 12v to the other side of the bulb Where the ground is and the light goes out.

Gracias! So it is based on the 12v signal from the alternator/regulator - not a measure of current flowing through AMP meter.
