I just picked up a 1995 80 with 196K and I don't expect a ton. I only plan to put maybe 5k on a year so if it makes it to 230,000 I'll be a very very happy camper. I just haven't seen many threads about the motor going so I was wondering when motors blew, or otherwise why you sold your rigs in the past.

I'm at 207k in my 94. It feels as stron as my dad's LX with 92k. I expect another 70-80k before I pull it for a diesel swap. My 91 had a ton of miles on it who knows how many I'm guessing 240k. If you get the head gasket replaced on a 95-97 and do the other little maintanence items you should be able to drive for quite some time. I think Toothfairy has 285k or so on his 94 and it drives great.
