Hi guys , I have a 1996 Lx 450 with a manufactuing date of 6/96 I was reading that 96 had 2 different tranys .
I am going to order a filter and gasket to do a flush .

It should be listed on the driver's side door. I forget for sure which one I have on my 97, but I'm thinking it is the A343. HTH.

from Slee's newbie guide -

Automatic transmission changes to the A343F. Some 95's were produced with the A442F. The transmission type is printed on the label on the driver door.

Not in North America. All true 95's (Production beginninig in Jan 95) have the 343 transmission. Other markets (AKA OZ) still used the 442.

I have the H442 in my 95 HDJ-80 also have the same ( or similar ) specs .. ?

Yes I was speaking with Dan today ...Avery nice gentalman ....I ordered a few parts form him .
He informed me that the trans has a screen and only the fluid was required for a service .
Thats fine with me ...
Anyone ever use a product called lubegard ...
