What to do with damaged 1994 292K 3FZ-FE Engine?

I pulled the 292k engine & transmission out of my 94 FZJ80 (see my other post) and I bought a 72k engine & trans to go in its place. This is the engine that had the timing gear explode because a cap nut sheared off and got stuck under the number 4 exhaust cam lobe. The weakest link was the the timing gear and tensioners.

So what I have is an engine on a stand in my shop and I need to do something with it. I don't really have room to store it or money re rebuild it since all my funds are going to the rebuild of the Cruiser.

Can I, in good faith sell it?

Trade it?

I just don't know.

I am asking for ideas.

Some one said make a coffee table out of it. Which is kind of a cool idea but...

Here in Spain it would be an taken to the scrap yard and turned into an anchor. If someone needed an engine then they would probably do what you did, and pick up a known good runner.

I'd call it a goner. Plenty of 1FZ-FE around that did not chew on themselves.
