Previous owner bogger it. I am try to fix it correct. Looking for correct plug size and tread.
Inside under the main fold.
You can see the it was leaking form there. Before. Glad motor is ok.
If there a part number you be great.

Which sensor hole is boogered?

That is the coolant temp sender that reports to the ECU. With the motor running and it missing, should display P0115 and P0116 codes.
 
Maybe someone knows the the thread size and pitch for the TVV that has done an EGR delete.

Buy a new sensor then measure the threads on it? that hole looks striped, so you may have to get creative to repair it.
I think I found the right thread. Might have to tap it. The tread behind the strip section. Hope I don’t have to pull the head.

You saying the TVV sensor has self tapping treads?

Taper, as in pipe, most Toyota is British Standard Pipe thread. Have a head that I can measure tomorrow.
 
If you can measure and if it just a pipe tread? That would save my ass!

Not so fast,,, the common pipe thread here is NPT, so....
 
Thank for confirming. Will get a tap and stainless steal plug.

Did you miss the part about that is a sending unit location and it sends info to the ECU so you will not get CEL :rolleyes: it is needed

That was from my mistaken id of the hole.
