When I purchased my BJ45 it had split rims and new Cooper discovery AT3's 235/85R16's. I am letting acquaintance of mine have the split rims but curious as to what to do with the tires. So it got me to think if anyone has 16's with skinny tires on their Pig? My original intent was to place them on my 40 but the rims I had powder coated (new wheels) are 15's so that's out the window.
Cheers
Jon

Seriously considering that same size on mine. I like skinny tires. @wngrog had them on project patina, stock 40 springs, looked great.

Mount them up while they are still on the split rims and let's see how they fit

I have 35x12.5x17 on skinny wheels

Deo had 255s on a skinny 16” wheel

red/white pig had 33x10.5x15

Maxxis bighorn 30x9.5 on my 40. Maxxis tend to run big, so not as small as they sound. Good tire, I've had several sets. Worked on the 40, might be a little small on the Pig, but certainly bigger than stock. I haven't pulled my wheels yet to know if I have welded or riveted. If welded, I may try a set of these. If I need new wheels, will go to 16s.
