So I have an 83 FJ60 with 5" Alcans and soon to have 2.5"+ HFS Barbell Shackles. The Rancho 9000s are beat-skee baroo.

Should I put on Bilstein 5125's?

Furthermore, who should I buy them from?
Anybody especially deserve the business?

I like my bilsteins. Not even running sway bars and highway control is good.

I'm doing 5150s... I'll report back in a week, and let you know how it goes...

Don't forget

Don't forget the post mounts for the top of the fronts unless you are doing fabbed hoops. I had 5150's on the FJ55. What valving are you going to run? the 270's?

For what its worth, i blew the seals on the rear w/ 5150's on the 55

Yep, the post mounts should be great - I can swap them out on the 5150s very easily.

You blew the seals, you say? Doing what?!

I don't....

no high jacking here... only asking for more info on topic as well....

How bout air shocks....? are they any good? aside from being able to adjust the rear height of the 60....?

I don't think I've heard any recommendations, IIRC they give a very hard ride and if they are used to raise the vehicle, they are stiff and prone to fail.

Granite: I wish I knew, I measured carefully, never overcompressed never hyperextended. They just started pissing all over the place.
