I searched but I am getting confused. I am replacing the front rotors on a 93 fj80.

Do I need the Front wheel bearing hub seal or the Front inner axle seal? Or do I need both or none?

I have a 54mm socket, fish scale, grease, pads, and rotors.

Anything else I need?

Thanks!

You need the front wheel bearing hub seals (1 per side). The only other things I would potentially have on hand are new star washers for the hub nuts. Dirt cheap and it just feels better to put new ones on.

Don't use the fish scale.

Use a torque wrench. Torque the inner nuts to 30 LB-FT and the outer to 45 LB-FT. There is an error in the US spec manual.

You will also need a paper seal or "The Right Stuff"-Back in a chees-wiz can to seal your front drive flanges.

Use Lucas Red-N-Tacky 2 grease (about 1 tube per side)

Can get what you need from Kurt at @cruiseroutfit . www.cruiseroutfitters.com

A headgasket!

Nukegoat had today off.

To replace the rotors; drive flange gaskets and star washers. If you are also going pack the wheel bearings; hub seals.

Save the fish scale for weighing fish, after settling the bearings, torque the inner nut to ~30ft/lb, follow the FSM for the rest.
