The HJ60, 61, 62; where was it originally sold new? Europe, Australia, Middle East, Asia? Was it offered in Central and South America? Im pretty sure that Canada got the BJ60s, did it get HJs as well?

Pretty sure both variants of the diesel were sold everywhere BUT the US. I know that I have seen Canadian HJs on here.

Canada got HJ's in 1986 and 1987. Pretty sure those were the only years.

Australia never got the BJ60

Wonder if the US didn't have so many emission and safety regulations if Toyota would be willing to import more models and engine options. Probably claim it would be too hard to support a few vehicles.

Panama got BJ60 and HJ60 .. ( round and square lights arguable HJ62 ) very few HJ61 LHD with 12HT ..

Thanks to all for the informative responses.

Im pretty sure thats exactly the reason; also probably why we don't get the 70 series here.
