can the Australian guys tell me what make this steel tray is? Are they any good?
This Cruiser has been imported from Australia and heading for Mozambique.
The new owner wants the factory bed put on.

Its the factory Toyota tray, they sell them for about a $4k plus another $800 if you want it painted. Far more useful than the factory tub. You should be able to see them among the options on Toyota Australia's home page.
And its made of marine grade alloy, not steel.
You should tell him to try it out for a few months if he is using it as a work vehicle.
They are much easier on the back unloading heavy items as you don't have to bend down.
The 75 series trays were 6'x8' but the 79 series are about 4" longer I think due to the longer chassis.
You can get them for dual cabs and Hilux with various options including roof rack etc
Toyota get them made in Australia , but I haven't see an identical one without the Toyota logo but Unicorn Trays come close.

Thanks. I have bought to keep till I get a new Cruiser. We don’t get anything like this here in South Africa. I nearly fell on my back when I heard how cheap you guys get Cruisers for over there.

Lol. Is this a joke?

No Joke. South Africa has a Toyota factory here. We are restricted to having imports brought into the country.
All cross border country buy there Cruisers from Japan or Australia. They import them using SA harbors ''because they somewhat do still work'' then truck them cross boarder, It saves them thousands. I know guys that import perfectly good Cruisers and strip them for parts and still make good money.

Sorry one more question. Are the diffrent mirrors on the door needed to work with this try?

Yes the factory mirrors are not wide enough, not legally anyway to get around the added width of the tray. Toyota use Britax mirrors
