starting to work on getting together my recovery package (strap, hilift or comealong etc, no real winch yet).
Will need a chain to work with hilift etc. Probably not to use with recovery strap I guess.
More for hand winching type work. Truck is basically stock with a big elk bar and will likely be loaded. So I'm guessing around the 5K lbs range.

What sort of weight rating would be adequate for this type of work? I want safe but not ridiculously conservative. (I don't plan on lifting it vertically if that helps...)

20' 3/8" chain w/holding hooks. high tensile strength.

These come in handy for clearing downed trees.
