I am looking to purchase a 100 Series LC , model year 2000. 78,000 miles.

What items should I look for to avoid a costly mistake / maintenance after the purchase? What are some common defects to look for on these vehicles?

There is a fairly expensive 90k service. Timing belt, etc.... $1000 ish. Just keep that in mind.
