What AC unit is that? How well does it cool your truck? Does it have heat too as it appears to replace OE heater?

Comparing different factory gauge readings between different rigs is pretty meaningless...

This is true. I have aftermarket Autometer mechanical and the OE gages. For example, in my truck the 1/3 mark on the OE temp gage corresponds to 185F on the mech gage. The OE temp needle never goes beyound vertical which is ~210 as I recall.
