ya my Cruiser is a 1980 BUT the tranny came out of a 1978, Rev light switch is at the bottom

I think it is a neutral saftey switch too. I'm pretty sure in the Hanyes manual it shows a neutral switch in the 78 wiring diagram. I have a couple of transmissions with this switch. One I know is out of a 78 the only one I'm not sure what it was out of.

I'm pretty sure it is the warp speed overdrive connector.

I got a schematic showing a "transmission position switch
". Either that or the self distruct activator

Intermediate relay for the Fetzer valve. Uses 20WT ball bearings, IIRC.:D

Shift point switch? If it is, it should ohm out so that at flips on/off when the transmission's in/out of 4th

Glad somebody got it. One of my faves. But "Christmas Vacation" takes it for me.

from the picture it looks like you need new muffler bearings...

no i repacked them last week and topped off my headlight fluidat the same time :flipoff2:

ok i the only thing i could think of is that it was rebuilt at some point with an post 79 top and a pre 79 case, so my tranny has dual Rev light switchs!
