07/76 FJ40. Shooting pic on PS - whats that thing in the middle of the pic with the wire comeing off it? Its on the block across from the fuel filter and next to the starter.

ANybody know when they started offering the oil cooler? I have a 03/75 that has it but I was told it wasen't offered until 76 model year, then I was told it may have been an option sooner.

Oil coolers were an option on 8/'76 and newer FJ40/55's, as well as Cali emissions spec 75 and 76 model year cruisers...although in the 75/76 model year I have only seen them on FJ55's...
