I strongly suggest you also replace the rubber grommet it fits into at this time as well. The rubber hardens and becomes impossible to get out in one piece. Then you're pulling it apart with pliers and crossing fingers you don't drop a little chunk into the valve cover where it could go block a critical oil gallery and toast a top end bearing. It also seals better of course. Couple bucks well spent.
