Any idea what this thing is? Found it on the bottom of the ashtray, connected to the switch on top of it. It’s a pull switch.

Since it was hidden, is it possible that it is a kill switch to prevent the vehicle from being stolen?

Follow the wires. Maybe nothing at this point in its life.

Self destruction switch? Pull it and see...maybe tell your loved ones what you think of them first just in case.

It's definitely a kill switch for the car. If the manual doesn't stop the thieves then this will.
