Check your oil pan bolts and make sure they're tight

Just had the side cover gasket replaced on my 92 - common leak on the 3fes and, from underneath, looked very similar to your leak. Solved my issue.

I talked to Edwin at LC Specialists in Austin and showed him pics of underneath and of the weap pattern on the garage floor and he said this was the issue with almost 100% certainty: side cover gasket. He said it will make a mess but isn’t a huge concern. He also said the rear main seal leak is the most commonly misdiagnosed shade tree mechanic opinion on this engine; not common at all on the 3FE.
