Please excuse my ignorance as I am still learning the FJ. I am not sure what this little gem on the side of the engine is. It has a hose that runs to the carb. Unfortunately it is leaking. However the leaking is not from the attached hose, but from the port itself. The port seems to have some play as if it is removable. Please see images…

Here’s the part# 90480-18180 for the grommet, and you might as well get a valve too 12204-61010. When you replace the grommet, stuff a paper towel down in the pipe before removing the grommet. Because if it is old it will probably crumble.
 
PCV valve. It prevents excess air pressure build up in the crankcase. If you yank it out there’s an easy to replace and cheap seal right there.
Thanks so much for the information. So I guess I need to order a new PCV valve and the seal. Does it indeed just pull straight up And out?
