thats the US M101. quite a bit larger, heavier and is (i think) 1ton or something like that. the m416 and canadian m101 are quite a bit smaller. the tub lip measures 4'X6' and is rated 1/4 ton.

for that particular one..its a pretty good price. from the pics, it looks to be fairly straight, and not covered in rust. keep in mind, these are bigger and wider, so not the best for a tight trail chaser, but excellent for off road hauling. tow rig looks to be an older 'burb...just to give you a size reference.

search in this forum on the m101a. theres been a few posts regarding them.

if it were me...id grab it. unless you're specifically looking for something smaller and more nimble

my jeep liberty i know... not a toyota anything, but I love this Jeep!

I am waiting for my new job to pay off... I'm a realtor now! yes!, and then getting a lift, steel front bumper, and much better/stronger roof rack instead of the bolt-on one i have now.

That's right. I had forgotten. The 1/4 ton is the way to go. That US M101 would have dwarfed that Liberty. I am certain it is wider that it. Those M101s are as wide as a 5 ton truck
