I was looking things over underneath my front end and noticed something is leaking. Whatever it is, it’s not dripping onto the ground (I have a concrete carport and nothing has ever leaked from my LC). Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Considering the picture....it appears to be grease from axle boot? Get a can of brake cleaner and some rags and clean it up and see if it reappears right away. It may not be an issue, they all seem to seep some after a few years.

That’s not your axle boot and that’s not grease.

Looks to be clearly oil and I have found it’s one of two things in that area usually. Either power steering system is leaking or valve covers most likely.

I would check first to see if you can “chase” the leak to a higher location, look for oil on manifolds, engine mounts, that usually indicated valve covers. If nothing up high, I’d look at the steering rack.
