What is a GX?

Trim level

GX is the standard version VX is the luxury version, but different markets had differences within these 2 catagories as well
 
also is a delux(or maybe called standard) version........base model, non US

GX badge will be seen on Canadian and other markets......never on a US spec 60-2(even though trim might be the same)

notice where the GX is located? now look at a US spec rig......there is a vent for the carb fan in that spot

Nope, that's the "G", the GX badge was located on the back, like this:

Was this ever figured out? I may be looking at a US 60-series GX later this week and would love to know the difference.
 
all US wagons are GX trim. We never got a G
