Everything on it is solid except for one corner on the top needs rebuilt. It also needs a trans tunnel and abit of floor built and the rockers have been shortened up towards the doors. It also has lots of little dents and dings that would need pulled or smoothed. All the back glass is good, but needs new rubber, the windshield is gone but frame is there and the doors would probally need rebuilt but the glass is there and I think I have all the mechanicals for them. I have no hood or fenders either. The reason I ask is I have a guy that wants it real bad, he already has a 45, but just bought a LV that has a destroyed body on it and wants to put my cab on that frame and do a custom bed. I really don't want to sell it, but finding time to work on the thing is gonna be a pain and I really don't want to cart it around for the next 10 years waiting for a chance to get it refurbed. I was thinking about asking 1500 for the just the cab and junked out chopped bed would that be fair? He will probally title it as a LV so I could sell the frame to a guy that wants to stick an alum tube on it for the vin.

If it still looks like a 45 and isn't rotten then 2k would be a good deal, 1.5 is a good price for the buyer and if you are happy with it, cool- If you are losing money at 1500 then ask what you need to and go from there.

Shipping can kill this type of deal. Last time we tried to ship one, I recall Tornado said it was $500 - $700 for 1000 mile trip.

Guy lives in my town has a real nice lwb with a sbc conversion that he said he wants to be buried in. So I might be able to get 2k out of him.

Finding a decent 45 is half the battle. A person might pass on an OK deal only to regret it later.. I passed on a rough 45 swb rt in lebanon, oregon. Posted it up on 'mud and I think it has gone from Oregon to Montana, California and sold again after getting a diesel and a paint job- each time it went up in price. I think when I looked at it the price was $800 or so. It would still be in my yard if I had bought it. ;)
