How does that stand do holding it up?Picked my rebuilt 2f up yesterday. Very excited!View attachment 1449243 View attachment 1449244
New shocks all around.
Only had a short drive to try them out but I really like how the Bilsteins are controlled yet comfortable - far better than the old Rancheros. Interested to see how they handle off-roading.Nice! I don't like the boots either.. Great shocks!

I did the same this week. Epoxy primed, 2k high build primer, sanded, sealed and got the top coat on last night!! Feels good to have them in color!!

Today = a s***-ton of sanding. Unfortunately I made a mistake and only sanded the few spots of filler with 80 scratch before sealing and primer...which left sanding marks after wet sanding the primer - ****.
Whomever invented glazing putty is my hero and I owe them some beer. Even though I still had to shoot another two coats of primer, this stuff probably saved me from doing another round. It goes on so smooth and sands very nice. Note to self...sand filler with 220 scratch befor priming and you'll save yourself some time!
Tomorrow looks like another day of wet sanding primer and shooting a couple coats on the tub...

Been a while since I have been on here but figured this was worth posting. Finished my rattle can paint job! Sanded down all the rust from it being in upstate New York primed and painted. Now all I have to do when rust peeks through is sand it and throw more of my paint on it. I have about ten cans left over

Emblems are on their way! I broke most of the old ones mounts getting them off due to rust. I could have just glued them but thought why not make it look decent.Amazing how well that paint job turned out. Very nice!
Spend a few bucks and get some new emblems. =)
@fjdiesel That is a dang nice looking green. What's is called.
