X2. My metal tees and torque clamps leaked directly into the ends of the connectors for the transmission harness causing conductivity issues.

Noted! Appreciate the feedback. I’ll keep an eye on it. If they begin to fail, it would be responsible to replace the hoses anyways. As far as any reaction between the coolant and either stainless steel or brass, that shouldn’t be an issue.

Replaced the alternator, harness, PS reservoir and hoses, upper and lower radiator hoses with all new OEM clamps. Also replaced some vacuum hoses. Then two days later, got my wet okole seat covers and now it feels like a new rig! The only bummer is the center console wasn’t available. Looks weird to me.

I didn't feel like hooking up the trailer so I used it to truck lumber home to build a gate; last thing we had to do to complete fence.

Those covers are sweet.

Tried to clean sunroof drains (just PM) only to find my weedwhacker line is too wimpy.
While up there confronted my sunroof trim issues. No leaks at all but matching tears at the front corners—what the heck?
Planning on replacing but if there’s something causing this wear...

@mdcoa That appears extremely weathered in addition to the cuts, & looks like someone put some sort of coating on the trim directly connected to the glass which is normally black plastic. When i did my drains i first tried the weed eater line from a step ladder outside but no luck then i pulled the glass out so i could get my big self in the truck to go at it which worked better. Taking the glass out is pretty simple. Pull down on the plastic trim at each side to expose two fasteners on each side then lift it out. While i had it out i ran a bead of clear acrylic latex caulk along the glass where it meets the plastic trim and then a bead between the rubber outer strip and the plastic trim. You may be able to put some rtv sealant on the cuts in the rubber strip once you have the assembly out of the truck. Good Luck.

Nothing terribly exciting today. (Ironman bumper next week). Today, I refurbished the receiver hitch, built some simple but beefy crossbars for my XL RTT and hinged my drawer system wings. Nice, low-key day. Sure beats the exhaust manifold install from 4 weeks ago.

One day early birthday gift from my better half: ARB Bull Bar bumper, OME TBs, LED driving light kit. I should have known when I kept seeing screen shots of other Mudders’

LXs show up in my pics. Looks like a couple weekends worth of work at least, but not complaining!!

@LXKevin Yep, 3/8” fuel hose. Soapy water and slide them on. Cut with a razor blade where the threads start. It’s very stout. I had a very similar setup on my ‘03 100 and took our XL RTT through several Moab trails with it up there. I was going to buy a fancy off-the-shelf system but thought, meh, this is stout. 12-gauge. Bought the 1.5” end caps at Ace Hardware for $1.09. Cost of everything about $45 probably.

This week on my 2006 100 series:

1. Upped the final drive ratio from 4.1 to 4.88 by installing nitro gear ring and pinions front and rear (finally finished breaking them in changing the oil as we speak)

2. Installed a rear ARB locker with the compressor off course

3. Replaced the transfer case actuator motor

(1fze update)
4. Replaced the factory crankshaft(95mm) with a 101mm stroker from Brian crower
