Got the sliders on, and painted it a graphite color to match my tow hitch and front grill. Overcast and rainy day with an iphone camera doesn't make the cruiser very photogenic. Will try again Saturday when it's sunny, going to take her on a trail and test the sliders.

Such a nice stance seen in the side photo.

(I can't believe you only have a 30mm coil spacer and stock t bar crank)

Are you running wheel spacers?

The matte wrap is looking great!

Thanks! Yup just a 30mm coil spacer in the rear and TB cranked 1" or so. I'm running 30mm hub centric ebay spacers on as well, no vibration, no issues, went on trail, rim didn't fall off.

We installed opor sliders on my buddies 98LC

A buddy of mine and me went to town needle-scaling my girl's undercarriage, no more crusty bottom. Got into all the nooks and crannies that normally aren't tended to and got everything cleaned up! It wasn't as bad as I thought but I figured we'd get it done and he said she was very clean for a 19 year old ...

This post is a sig-hunters dream

@Trunk Monkey I have these (i'm assuming Hella Horns) horns sitting in my garage from my old 90's corolla. Was thinking about putting them on the LX, was there a big difference in volume using the relay vs just the stock wiring? It was plenty loud in my corolla with no relay. Did you take apart the horn when you painted the grill?

I installed a OME lift with 864 coils in the rear...

285/75/16 Toyo Open Country AT II. Super sexy.

I can't believe how well the handling improved. Can't wait to see how they do in rain and snow.

I also had a section of missing exhaust replaced because a certain man in my life insists that the road he must drive all the time is also the road that happens to cross a river.

Those are the "sharp" tones, they come yellow. The supertones are red. And they'd barely squeak on the factory wire.

Another option for horns are the factory Tundra or later model 4Runner horns. They sound like big car horns, not the beep-beep of a late 80’s sub-compact. Db levels are probably about the same, but a better tone and it’s a simple plug and play.

My week by order of least importance.

Cleaned the car ahead of road trip.
Oil change.
Burnt out right taillight fixed.
Running boards taken off.
500 mile road trip for some steelhead fishing, rig smells like fish and roe, a good thing.
Currently airing out.

Or just get the 200 series JDM horns. Plug and play. Done.

They may not have a greater Db level, but when they're used, people do take notice, especially on the interstate when people make goofy lane changes.

Thanks, I already have the 200 series JDM horns on my 100. After seeing the Hella's mounted, I remembered I had a set. Maybe i'll install them on my DD.
