I have a '91 3FE, and I am having a hard time figuring out what this sensor does. It's the one in the upper left of the picture (8942860060). The only thing I could find anywhere is a hint that it controls the AC condenser fan in Tercels. Well, the 3FE never came with a condenser fan (at least, not in US markets), so what is it for? Thank you for any insight you might have.

IT killes the AC when overheating
That's a negative.
On the 3FE the water temp switch runs the VSV for the FPR.
More accurately, it tells the ECU when to fire the FPR VSV to regulate fuel pressure.
