What does this plug go to? Next to Drivers side O2 Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 1 (1 Viewer)

This doesn't look like it has been plugged in for a while. It is in the same loom as the O2 sensor. I can't find anything Close to it.

p.s. any tips or tricks for getting that O2 sensor out? My O2 Socket goes on there but that heatshield makes it where I can't get a Ratchet on it or a Wrench. This is drivers side sensor 1/upstream

I cannot help you with the plug, but I have had good luck using a breaker bar on a O2 sensor socket like this:

Thanx, I am going to get one like that. Mine is a deep socket with a split up the side and you can't get a wrench or socket on it.

I just had to replace one on my 06. Took it to an old school muffler shop and they charged $40. For that money I figured it wasn’t worth the cost of buying a specialized tool and then doing it myself.

All of the LX470's and Land Cruiser 100's I have seen have this extra plug on the harness. Not something we need to be alarmed about. I presume it's for an additional sensor on a different engine model (I don't know for sure). I think it might just be a "one wiring harness fits all" kind of a thing.
