Hey guys, came over from the Tacoma boards. A friend is looking at this for sale in LA. I don’t know anything about these except I always thought they were bad ass. Anyone know anything about this truck or what might be of concern from the pics? Is it a good price? Thanks!

I’d expect to see a whole lot more for that price. The engine isn’t even rebuilt.

It's a Traveler with the top off. I've owned Scout 800, Scout II and my sister had one of these. The roll cage could prove to be quite limiting for head room. Can't remember with Traveler but the other two had insufficient legroom for a tall person such as myself.

I think it's really overpriced because for that money you could get a pretty nice Land Cruiser. Scouts are quite inferior to Land Cruisers in every category you can imagine. They even rust faster, if you can believe that.
