For some time now - to long really - I have been researching the difflock possibilities for my LC.

- I have had Arb, but had to much problems with those, so will not use those again.

- I tryed to get a TJM but i get no replies from the distributors, and TJM insist on us using the distributor that dont reply to us - so that wont happen either

- I tried to look at Aussielocker and Lokkas auto diff - would prefere a REAL locker, but might end up with this anyway since the dealers reply to out mail.

- I looked at getting the axels from a hj61 with mechanical lockers, but are to affraid the cabels will freeze up when we use it in the snow.

So my question is. What do you use? - and do the place you bought it have a webshop?

My rear is a lock-rite. I'd prefer a detroit but it works as intended. Bought from a vendor of ours but readily available on many web sites.

This has been discussed a thousand times but here's mine:

Aussie Lockers and Lock-rites are both similar and can be installed on your back in the driveway in a couple of hours or less.............

ARB, Detroit Locker and other carrier types require much more work and set-up, or professional installation

I like my Aussie and the price was right..................

i have an aussie locker and am very pleased with its performance. have had no issues

I have never heard of a freezing issue with cable lockers. I have one on the rear and have never had a problem with it freezing in snow or cold weather.

The question was "What do you use? - and do the place you bought it have a webshop?" - im well aware of the difference thank you ;)

Thanks for the replies so far. I think i might end up ordering Aussie Locer, while I find a real permanent solution
