What did you put in your military trailer today? (2 Viewers)

Took a buddy with me today for wood. He loaded it 90° from my norm while I was cutting. This was not the heaviest load ever but I’m not sure I’ve ever got more wood in it.

What application were these originally intended for? How have they turned out working?

With fire wood season fast approaching its time to make sure the M101a is ready. At some point I lost my right side axle bump stop and I’ve been inverting my spring pack. With a set of overload Timbren’s laying around it’s time to modify and install. Cutting down the mounts is pretty easy. Removing nearly 70 year old u-bolts sucks. Happy to have this done. When the springs unloaded last year off camber it was a little unnerving to say the least.

They were the original set intended for my 80 series, both the brackets I cut down and the rubber bumps. And they are the best thing I’ve ever done to the trailer. It rides so much more stable now when loaded.

Beautiful BJ73 and M416, congrats!
Do you still have in the family your mustard FJ40 John?

Nice rig ya have there- like the color coordinated paint. Is that a split barn door rear that you have? Very cool

It’s a Saudi left hand drive 80 and the trailer came with it. Turn your phone sideways and see my signature. It’s worth reading about. OddBall80
