I learned my friend made mini-cheesecakes for the bbq yesterday, and daaauuummmn those were good! Also learned 10 adults and 3 kids could not eat the 13+ lbs of potato salad I made.

I learned patio tables which have glass on them have a cutout in the glass for the umbrella, the good tables don't even have glass near that cutout, or it can easily do what my brother's did, which was shatter the table when a gust of wind pushed on the umbrella...

I learned my brother's gas grill sucks, something wrong with the regulator, wouldn't get over 300 degrees with it on for 4+ hours, and tank full...

I learned again that fireworks are fun. :D

Since it seems we're on the subject of food again, I learned that the first listed ingredient of the hazelnut cake my kids picked out for my birthday was: butter. Yum. :D

Oh, and I learned that my neighbor is a little, well, slow: not only did not know what the fireworks he was lighting did once lit  but also, later in the day, when an irate neighbor with a British accent came over to complain about the bottle rockets hitting his house, my neighbor didn't take the opportunity to give the guy a little history lesson. :D

I learned a few weeks ago that a quick internet search will solve that very problem....disconnect the regulator/hose from the tank, wait 1 beer (2 if you slam them), reconnect, and open the valve to the tank S L O W L Y and only 1/2 turn...fire the burner furthest from the tank 1st too...

basically, your wrist action is so fast on the tank valve that the safety kicked on to limit the flow...and my grill peaked about 300 too....had 'er at 500 yesterday tho :D

we don't need details on WHY your wrist is so fast.... :flipoff2:

I learned that when it comes to the debate over separation of Church and State, most people have no idea what they are talking about (on both sides of the issue).

I have also learned that it is not difficult to talk myself into eating a piece of pie.

i actually use to live in ATL...It is a great place to live - most of the people there are from the North (above the "Masonary Line") - so it is not only Baseball, basketball, football - you get a good amount of soccer and rugby played..

I have heard through the grapevine that the late 80's early 90's Buckhead has become Buckhood or Buckwheat which ever term you prefer.

Was that the Andre Rison incident outside Rupert's(used to have the shark-filled dance floor)? I grew up about a five minute drive from there. Used to walk to see movies at Tower Place all the time.

I learned Haptin Sidnee(sp? :flipoff2: ) has mysteriously moved above the Masonary Jar Thing-a-ma-doo-hickey. :flipoff2:

I learned the movie Baraka is a really neat movie(playing recently on inHD.)

I learned that I'm gettin' too old for 4-day-long benders. Blah.

I have learned that Bailey is a tard

Junk is still a pickle pusher

I dont think Atlanta is the right place for Noah

Seems like most posts by Beaufort-FJ60 have some sort of negative racial overtones

Do you know how many strip clubs there are in ATL? Second only to Dallas, IIRC.

That must have been before the scandal and downfall of the Gold Club.

    :sigh:
