Not to side track thread too much but I have been looking at aussies and border collies. Not sure what direction to go would love to hear you alls feedback?
Maybe it should be it’s own thread!!

Border Collies are the coolest dogs ever! I love cattle dogs too.

I lost my BC last year after 14 years together. Got her when she was just a little pup and she was with me every day...still getting over that one. She was my bud. Every day for 14 years started and ended with her by my side. She's the one who got me out of bed and was cuddled up with me at bed time. I still miss her and think about her every day.

My Australian Cattle Dog is still with me and going strong at 13 years old.

All over the place:

'63 LeMans (gift) > '70 Chevelle (gift) > '71 Catalina (used) > '83 VW Rabbit turbo-diesel (new; the only one I ever saw anywhere) > '89 Subaru wagon (new) > '95 Subaru Impreza (used) > '98 GMC Sierra (new) > '00 VW Beetle turbo (new) > '03 Land Rover Discovery 2 (new) > '08 BMW X3 (used) > '13 BMW X3 (new) > '16 Land Cruiser (new)

A couple of the model years are guesses. Not particularly interesting.

1994 LC
2005 LC
2017 Ram Rebel
201X LC?

I could use a little arm twisting to get into a 200. I have a 2017 Ram and dislike a few things compared to a 2016+ LC ... I really want to move back to a LC (I miss the ride quality). But as far as a practical/smart decisions go, the Ram suits my needs just fine. I need a little push from you guys and gals.

Compare PIC1,PIC2 with PIC3. Either your camera works much better when there is a LC in front of it, or there is something missing in your life. :)

Midlife crises started in 17. Mercedes was a frustrating experiment in wonderful materials poorly put together, and questionable suspension choices. Miss the Golf...and the Stsrlet.

There is a cool thread "Dogs of Mud". My 5th border collie has just taken command of my life and I love the breed. Just consider the energy level. This one may be over the top for me; he's a 12 on an energy scale of 1-10. Enjoy the thread.

last 2 vehicles were Wranglers, got tired of lack of HP on the long road trips to get into the mountains from Texas. Pic is from a favorite NM rest stop one year apart.

2003 Toyota Tacoma
2012 Ford Mustang
2011 Lexus ISF

Only vehicle I ever missed was the Tacoma- sold it in 2015 and now have my 2014 LC that I will keep until the wheels fall off.

4 years ago I was still driving a 2008 Dodge Durango. It got clobbered by a junkie in a stolen car so my husband got a 2000 F350 short cab dually 7.3L diesel and I took his 1999 F250 diesel. The next year we traded the 99 on a Lexus CT200h. A year ago it got clobbered by an old guy who decided to try to drive in the same space I was in on the freeway. So I was given a Mercedes CLA250 and also had the temporary use of a 2020 Mercedes GLE. I’m not sure if a free Mercedes is as nice as a Lexus you pay for, so I sold the CLA and today we bought a 2010 LX570.

I'll play,

1950 Ford - owned it before I was old enough to drive
1963 Buick Special V6
1972 Ford/Lincoln Mercury Capri 2000
1978 VW Rabbit - first year they offered 5 speed manual. Within a few months I was hit twice and it was stolen.
1979 VW Scirocco - one wiper blade which flew off in a blizzard driving thru PA
1983 Toyota Supra
1986 Toyota Supra
1991 Acura Intergra - second worst car I ever owned
1992 Toyota Camry XLE V6 - gold badges and all
1996 Ford Explorer V8
1997 Mercedes e420 - great V8 motor, the rest of the car was the worst I ever owned!! Averaged about 800 miles between breakdowns
1999 Lexus GS400 - V8. Best car I ever owned til the LC
1999 Toyota Sienna XLE - A tank.
2012 Toyota Prius Persona. "Big" 17 inch tires make it fun to drive
2004 Toyota Tundra V8. Another tank. We nicknamed it "the troop carrier"
2015 Toyota LC. New candidate for best car ever. A cross between the luxury of the lexus gs400 and the size and power of the Toyota Tundra
