Hey guys just seen this ... think he’s smoking crack .

For years I was a Woody Grand Wagoneer guy they were cheap when I was young before I went Toyota but these people think there worth all the money same with the bronco people .

Grand Wagoneers were great and cheap to lift

The Grand Wagoneer were similar in size to the 200 , I went to 4 runners first and still like the 4Runner especially liked the manual select 4x4 transfer case .

From a truck perspective, F-150 Raptor
Many other cars in the past though, mostly on the sport side however.

I had Two 2nd Gen Tacomas (one of which I just bought back from my friend I sold it to), then a 100 series, then the 200 series. All good vehicles. The 200 is by far the nicest to drive, but the little 6 speed Tacoma is fun to have back in the fleet.

2000 Black/Tan 100 series LC.
Before that a full size 1985 Black/Red Chevy K5 Blazer. Great truck but it rusted to death.
Before that a 1974 Black/Black Chevelle Malibu Classic.
Before that a yellow Schwinn 10 speed bicycle.

100 Series LX470
80 series LX450
2010 Sequoia Platinum
2007 Sequoia
2007 FJ Cruiser
100 Series LC

FJ100

Hundy. Before that, an FJ62.

'85 Cressida - '92 Saturn SC2 - '97 F150 - '00 Mustang GT - '99 100 Series - '01 GS430 - wife gave back 100 series - '08 200 series. We buy cars about every decade. I bought the 100 in my mid 20's and now in my mid 40's and still have it. We kept the GS430 for 12 years. We went our entire 30's without buying a vehicle. Only new cars I bought were the two Ford's.

My ‘clearly I wasn’t a car guy’ list:
78 f100- dads old truck
87 Sentra wagon - moms old car
84 318i - 2 door gray. Wish I still had it
98 camry - killed it
03 regal -punishment for killing the Camry, but my first V6
03 Accord - first car I modded, my favorite until the LX
11 Malibu only new car, reward for not dying in 2010. now my kids first car!
11 LX 570

I drove a 100 series LH drive, diesel with manual transmission as my DD on my last tour in Afghanistan.....and I have lusted after a cruiser since. My girlfriend encouraged me to just do it ™️, so I started looking for one a few months ago. I ended up with an LX simply because of availability. I put down deposits twice on LCs only to find out the next day that someone else bought the truck.
I have put over 10k miles on it in 6 weeks, and busted ahc aside, I’ve never been happier with a vehicle. On our last road trip, we talked about the fact that even if we had unlimited money, the only change we would make is to buy newer versions of the cars we have. I’ve reached the mountaintop for cars, at least for me. Her dream car is her 2003 Porsche 911 convertible. She drives like a damn race car driver too.

I‘ve always had a pickup truck of some variety, a few Tacoma’s, a few Cummins powered Dodges and presently an F150. As far as other rigs go Prior to the LX there was a 73 FJ55, 87 HJ75 Troop Carrier, 97 80 series and a few dilapidated 40 series. The LX shares garage space with an 83 911(the other favorite /bucket list car)

Ton's of commodity/commuter cars.

My baby's though? I've had 3 manual transmission Caddy's, which are somewhat on the unicorn side of things, but have been a total BLAST to drive. Still have the '05 (in all it's tricked out glory). Regret selling the Manny Vagon, but some dude offered by $5k less than I bought it for 5 years after I bought it....so I couldn't say no.

P.S. not shown was a 2014 ATS M6. If I hadn't moved to Colorado, I'd still have it. It is SOOOOOO much better than a comparable 3 series (and I've raced e30's through e46's for years. I love 3 series). In typical GM fashion, they canceled the ATS. Such a shame, because it is a world beater. ZERO issues with that car.

Started with a ‘46 Jeep (very well used), then a bunch of nondescript things I can’t really remember much about, then finally an 80 and then a 100 before the 200.

2007 Honda Accord > 2002 BMW M5 > 2004 LX470 > 2016 Toyota Corolla

Currently: 2009 Land Cruiser - 1996 Land Cruiser - 2002 LX470

Mostly GM pickups and SUV's. Still have a modded 2011 Ford Raptor. I had a 1997 NAS Defender for a while too.

Mechanical problems with my last SUV, a 2016 Yukon Denali XL, made me want a no-BS, ultra reliable vehicle. That led me straight to a 2020 HE. I test drove an LX570 but my wife said "no way" due to the front grill and her perception that the Lexus looked like an "old mans" car. I took her to test drive and look at the HE and she loved it. Sold!

I thought about waiting for a 2021 GM SUV, and I sat in a new Yukon. after buying my LC. They are nice, but I have no regrets or buyers remorse. I love having a truck that is old-school, high quality, and unusual.

2014 F-150 KR The Ford had more squeaks and rattles at 40k miles than I have on the 200 at 180k.

As others have said- I wished that I had moved to a 200 series sooner. I do miss having a bed though. Maybe that’s why I got a FJ45 too
