Finished off my updated power platform with a solar panel mounted to the roof of my tent running straight to my Redarc. Decided to do a little test. Ran my fridge 24/7, all last week without cranking the engine. Relied solely on the solar panel to charge my house battery. Conditions were fairly foggy with some sun in the 60s and the result was a resounding success! Battery never sat below 12.4 after 5 days. Pretty cool not having to worry at all about my batteries running down while using power, ever again.

At 229.5k miles drained 30ml of fluid from my Eaton fan clutch and replaced with about 40ml 15k cst silicon oil. Couple of short test drives (slow moving / idling) yielded mixed results on temps compared to pre-mod temps. I'll watch it this week and might be going back in next weekend to try to get some more in there.

Not what I did on my 80 but what I did for my 80.

Worked 2.5 days and carried out 50 hr inspections on 2 Cessna 172's. That will pay for quite a few baseline parts
;)

Finally got around to getting the spare engine off the picker.

Went to mount it on the stand and just didn't feel good about all the weight sticking so far out. Found out it sits nice and level on the base.

Maybe she wanted to ride with the dogs. That would be the kind of women I would marry.

Got around to installing my Goose Gear rear storage
