Got the Slee bumper on last night. Easy peezy. I was able to do it myself in about an hour.
Ugh the Slee bumper has really grown on me, I want one. Looks great man!

Looks good, I am getting ready to build a rack, I am wondering what brand of mounts you are using?
Some of these shleps are landing in Colorado. My wife and I are headed to Wyoming when we retire, fast! Why did they ban the 1911?
Apparently Colt changed the way they manufacture the 1911. CNC vs cast, or something.
In CA that makes a new gun which is not allowed for sale here without meeting some struck regulation (which no gun manufacturer is willing to make).
There are no Glocks 4 gen here. So when the 3 gen is out, bye bye Glock.
Yeah, at 10,000 feet on I-70 is where the power of that big six really shines
So, today I picked up Marjan from the German Toyota mechanic.
I forgot to get a picture, but this Toyota Dealership is out in the middle of nowhere, right smack dab in the place where the Naab River meets the Danube NW of Regensburg. Just across the road there is a cave with prehistoric cave paintings for something to do while you wait for your car to get done:

The mechanic was extremely skilled and knowledgeable; he showed me how all my interior wiring was basically shot, and how he had to redo the wiring loom. Cost me EUR 450, which is about $500.
Turns out the issue affected nearly everything. My windows now go up and down much faster, my PWR button light works, my stereo doesn't cut out, and yes, my rear wiper works normally, again. Am happy to be back on the road, but wished I would've stuck with it and fixed the problem on my own...
Sand, apparently, is a piss-poor sealant.I let my OCD take over and peeled off most of the PO's remaining exterior bedliner, I'm now ready to do a proper Monstalining soon...
I also did a re-seal of the windshield gasket. Not a horrible leak, but annoying having water dripping on my foot while driving in a rainstorm.
How bad was that to do? I figured it would be a real pain unless it wasn't done right.I let my OCD take over and peeled off most of the PO's remaining exterior bedliner, I'm now ready to do a proper Monstalining soon...
My "White Rhino" has double water leaks way in the rear. I pulled the air vent louvers and applied RTV in the body hole where the louver snaps in like I read that others have done but no dice. I have not seen a thread where someone did a complete rebuilt of the slider Windows and vent so I shall. Stay tuned.I let my OCD take over and peeled off most of the PO's remaining exterior bedliner, I'm now ready to do a proper Monstalining soon...

It wasn't done right, so it was pretty easy! How bad was that to do? I figured it would be a real pain unless it wasn't done right.
That's some funny s*** right there! It wasn't done right, so it was pretty easy!
